Another India video, and motorcycle problems.

I have done it again, another video has been completed.  It will go public tomorrow, but for those who read this blog you can read it now!

India Trip Episode 8

I think I have about 6-7 videos left in the series, so on track to complete it by end of the year, possibly sooner.

Not much else going on right now.  I am in the process of selling my Royal Enfield Himalayan as I just do not ride it enough to keep 2 bikes.  Will get it listed this weekend.

But my V-Strom is currently out of action and will not start, thinking either the starter or starter relay might be bad.  I have power, battery shows fully charged, I can hear all the normal sounds, lights and such on instrument cluster work, and when you try to start it make similar noise, but also a loud click and nothing happens.

Going to try troubleshooting it more on Sunday, cannot get it anywhere, so need to fix this one myself!

Next Episode of the India trip has gone live!

 Hey everyone.

Quick update that I got some more work done on the India video series and now Episode 7 has been posted on YouTube.

This day was probably the best day of riding on the whole trip, though a few others came close, this one just had the best combination of roads, views, and activities to make it a fun day, though if you read the trip blog you will see the day ended with some frustration for me, but no day is perfect!

I am going to continue working on the India trip for now, and if I get some time might try to put up at least 1 more Vietnam video in the meantime as well.

My main goal though is to complete the India trips by the end of the year I hope.  Then I can finish up the Vietnam trip before I move into several other trips that still need edited together.

I think there are at least 3 US trips I have footage for, 3 Europe trips for the bikes.  Also have 1 more concert video to do that was done on one of the Europe trips, and then a relaxing week on an island without a bike, but should be fun anyway.

Next trips are planned to start in summer 2026, but details are still being sorted, so will announce them when I know things, but hoping (really!) that I can have all the past videos done by then and can start putting stuff up in a more current fashion (like a few days or weeks after, not years!)

Another Video finally done!

Hello everyone.

I finally made myself sit down and get another video edited.

Episode 6 of the India trip is now on the YouTube Channel.

I think I am going to focus on the India trip for now and pause any more updates on the Vietnam trip as I want to get the older stuff done so I can clean up my source files as I am not keeping most of the footage I am not using as there is little need for it.

As for upcoming trips, things are on pause right now due to some other things I need to focus on right now, so currently no travel plans over the next 6-8 months, but then things should pick up again and if everything works out, will start getting more trips online.

I hope to finish up the India, Vietnam and several other videos before then, but time will tell if I can get all the backlog done before then.  Still have to write up the blogs for at least 3 trips as well.

I am going to also start working on trying to move this content to my own domain, but that will probably take longer than I expect, so just stay tuned on that one.  :)

Not much else going on right now, just working on those other concerns and projects along with working my normal job as well.

More Videos finally.

Hello everyone.

So took a short break from the video work over the last 2 months.

1st I was getting prepared and then taking a 10 day trip to Europe to attend a concert and then spend a week riding around central Europe on a rented bike.

Will be awhile before any of that gets written up or the video put up as I am really trying to get the stuff from previous years done first.

When I returned I spend the next 2 weeks under the weather with Bronchitis thanks to spending 3 days riding in the rain in temperatures not too far above freezing!  Not too much fun.

Then was busy with work and personal stuff for a bit, but have finally been able to get some time to start back up with the videos.  Still working on both the India and Vietnam trips, will alternate back and forth with them.

Not too exciting as I again as I failed to record in many places that would have made it more fun, but still gives you the idea of the days ride and stops.

Hopefully will have the next Vietnam video up in 1 - 2 weeks (I have another video project I need to work on for someone else, so might delay things some.)

Video Updates - Finally getting some work done!

 Hello everyone.

Been a few months, so wanted to add another update to this site tonight.

I have been working quite a bit over the last month or so to get video from the Vietnam/Laos trip edited and posted online.  I put up the 5th episode tonight on the YouTube channel (will link it at the end).  I also went back and re-cut the 1st episode of the 2022 India trip and have now completed 4 episodes of that ride as well.

Getting faster at putting them together and will continue to work through the next several months to hopefully complete the videos for those trips.

I will be travelling again by motorcycle this spring in Europe, so will be doing more video there as well.

I still have the UK trip and several AZ and CA trips to get edited as well, and the Maldives trip, though that has nothing to do with motorcycles :)

Probably be end of 2025 before most of that gets done, depending on how much time I can carve out for video work with all the other projects I have going on.

I am going to be starting my sell off of much of my collections and other junk this summer, and hopefully can complete much of that by early 2026. 

My current plans are to complete the sell off and leave on my full time riding in early 2027, though depending on several factors and events, I may find myself pushing that up a year to 2026.

But for now enjoy the smaller trips on YouTube and the blogs for those trips as well.
